Every year we celebrate International Women's Day symbolically around
March 8th. This year marks the anniversary of the first International Women's
Day, which was launched in various European countries in March, 1911. Therefore
it is a special year for us.
This year we are organizing a panel discussion, some lectures and a dance
programme in TIFR to celebrate this occasion.
