Description
We study the effects of finite chemical potential on the chiral anomaly equation in continuum QCD both perturbatively, in Euclidean spacetime, and non-perturbatively, using Fujikawa's formalism. We verify that the anomaly equation has no finite density corrections. We extend our study to lattice fermions with exact chiral symmetry on the lattice and discuss some of the consequences for such fermion operators at finite density. Finally we propose a simple method for incorporating chemical potential on the lattice.
