ABSTRACT: How do PRL editors determine which papers make it into the journal? Which how-tos should you know as an would-be author? Why should you submit your work to PRL/Phys. Rev.? Should the journals reorient themselves in an age of vigorous competition and open access? My presentation and our open-ended discussion - I plan to leave time for many questions - should address these and other related issues/challenges.
