TCIS Hyderabad Transit Campus: From bare shell to present status – in the engineering perspective

As a first step in setting up the TIFR second campus Hyderabad, TIFR Centre for Interdisciplinary Sciences (TCIS) started functioning in the transit campus at Gandipet, Hyderabad. Being the member of Project Implementation Team (PIT) of TIFR Second Campus, extending engineering support for the new campus including the TCIS, many activities were initiated and established. This talk will highlight the various engineering related works, in setting up this transit campus emphasizing the transition of the transit building from a bare shell to its present stage, floor plan & Layout, electrical & air conditioning, infrastructural development, safety features etc.
