There is overwhelming evidence that there is dark matter in the
Universe. However, its particle identity remains a mystery. In this
talk, I will present new and exciting proposals for the nature of
this particle and explain their impact on astrophysics, cosmology,
and particle-physics. I will discuss various ways to test these
proposals and, hopefully, discover the nature of dark matter.
