Abstract: This talk will cover my research career of over 40 years at TIFR. Obviously, this is a very long winding story. I will describe briefly how this journey began with ‘Temperature-Jump Relaxation Kinetics’ and subsequently went through ‘Transport Across Membranes and Bioenergetics’ and brought me to ‘Fluorescence Dynamics of Proteins and Nucleic Acids’. I shall point out how all these areas of research have a broader theme of ‘Chemical Dynamics in Biology’.
