Description
In this talk I will elaborate on factorisations in Soft Collinear Effective Theory and particularly discuss a class of observables that are sensitive to recoil by soft particles. Some of the observables that fall under this category are jet broadening I will introduce the modes and power counting, and demonstrate the factorisation in SCET for these observables. I will show that the standard regularization and renormalization methods are not sufficient and introduce a solution to regulate rapidity divergences and resum the rapidity logarithms.
