Description
Heart disease will be the single greatest killer in India by the
year 2015. At present, 17.2 million lives are lost per annum globally due
to heart diseases. In India, heart disease manifests in population, a
decade earlier than the western people. 80% of the serious manifestations
of the heart disease can be prevented by modifying the risk factors,
changing the lifestyle and diet modification and of course, the medical
therapy whenever required will help to prevent the heart disease
manifestations.
