Description
In this talk I will discuss the obtention of minute amount of endohedral C60 fullerenes, which have one or more atoms trapped inside the cage. I will show spectroscopic evidence of a peculiar molecular negative thermal expansion of the C60 cage when a krypton atom is encaged. Alkali doped endohedrals were synthesized and they are, as expected, superconductors albeit at a slightly lower temperature. Their superconducting properties are discussed in relation with their vibrational spectra.
