I will talk about the motivations for work in progress that hopes to better understand the relationship between resurgence, supersymmetric gauge theory, and conformal field theory. A common theme uniting these lines of inquiry is the use of semiclassical methods. This talk is based on joint work with P. N. Bala Subramanian (IISc).
