Description
Even though classical computers have evolved immensely in the past decades, there remain problems that we can never imagine solving on a classical computer in reasonable time. This talk will discuss a very specific kind of Quantum Computer called a D-Wave Adiabatic Quantum Annealer and its applications in Discrete Optimisation and Probabilistic Sampling. We will also discuss how to go about solving a problem on a D-Wave.
