3d superconformal field theories with N = 4 supersymmetry have two topological sectors, one associated with the Higgs branch and one with the Coulomb branch. I will explain how these sectors are defined and I will describe their properties as well as a method to compute any correlation functions in these sectors for 3d N=4 gauge theories with charged matter.
