Description
Metamaterials are emerging as novel functional material lattices. These are basically artificially crafted subwavelength structures with flexibility to control their characteristics at will. Usually, their building blocks are known as metaatoms. Here, we will explore the resonant excitations in metamaterials at terahertz frequency scales to bring out functionalities starting from modulators, switches, sensors to frequency tunable devices. This helps to fill the technologically lacking terahertz gap
