Abstract: This talk will be based on a preprint of Jérémy Blanc, Ana Bot and Pierre-Marie Poloni. https://doi.org/10.48550/arXiv.2108.12389 Given a complex algebraic variety $X$, a real form of $X$ is a real algebraic variety whose complexification is isomorphic to $X$. In this talk, we shall discuss the isomorphism class of real forms of Gizatullin surfaces of a specific kind and of Koras-Russell threefolds of the first kind.
