Description
Recent coordinated observations and interpretations of disparate "messenger" signals from GW170817-GRB170817A-EM170817 have inaugurated the era of multi-messenger transient gravitational wave (GW) astronomy. Interestingly, it should be possible to pursue persistent multi-messenger GW astronomy during the era of Square Kilometer Array era Pulsar Timing Array. I will begin with a brief introduction to GWs, theoretical aspects of Pulsar Timing Arrays. Thereafter, I will sketch how we may be able to pursue persistent multi-messenger nano-hertz GW astronomy during the Square Kilometre Array Era from an Indian Pulsar Timing Array perspective.
