Description
Abstract: A lemniscate in the plane is a sub level set of the modulus of a
complex polynomial. In this talk I will discuss some metric properties of
random lemniscates, particularly about the inradius, when the roots of the
polynomial are sampled independently from a fixed probability
distribution. Based on joint work with Manjunath Krishnapur and Erik
Lundberg.
