One of the greatest questions of Particle Physics that has been put forward in front of us is the matter-antimatter asymmetry of the Universe. In 1967, Sakharov proposed a set of conditions that would help us to understand the process of baryogenesis leading to preponderance of matter over antimatter. One of the conditions is CP violation. In the past, measurements of B-meson decays have shown several examples of CP violations. Still, we have not found any such effects in b baryons above five standard deviations. This talk will highlight the developments made to explore the b baryon sector at LHCb and the innovations introduced to the LHCb upgrade for future runs.
