Search for lepton flavour violating process $B_s -> e^\pm\mu^\mp$ in CMS Experiment

Experimental measurements in the heavy flavour sector suggest possible effects beyond the standard model. We focus on the lepton flavour violating decay of Bs meson to the electron+muon final state using proton-proton collision data collected by the CMS experiment at a centre-of-mass energy of 13 TeV.  The dataset being used was recorded with a special trigger strategy in 2018 that corresponds to 10 billion b-hadron decays via inclusive muon final state. In this talk I shall discuss the data collection methodology, analysis  strategy, the status of the analysis and present results obtained so far.
