 tting  are on the rise. We explore the effect of stochastic energy resett
 ing on the dynamics of a two-level and a three-level quantum Otto engine. 
 The extracted work is shown to increase with the resetting rate. The effec
 tive efficiency\, that takes into account the cost of resetting\, is shown
  to better quantify the engine performance than the standard definition. T
 he efficient power exceeds the no-reset case. The three-level engine is fo
