DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Pallabi Das (Research Fellow\, CERN\, Switzerland)\n
\nThe LHC generates an unprecedented volume of scientific data\, which mus
t be processed in real time to meet bandwidth and storage constraints. The
trigger system plays a fundamental role in determining which physics proc
esses can be recorded and studied. In this seminar\, I will discuss the ev
olution of the hardware-based trigger of the CMS experiment in Run 3 to pr
obe unconventional signatures\, and the capabilities of the upgraded trigg
er system for the High-Luminosity LHC\, including my current and planned c
 ontributions to its commissioning.\n\nhttps://scitalks.tifr.res.in/event/9
