DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Manoj Kumar \, Singh (Institute of Physics\, Academi
a Sinica\, Taiwan)\n\nHow can experimental searches using low threshold de
tectors reveal the fundamental properties of neutrinos and the nature of d
ark matter? My research addresses this question through precision experime
ntal studies employing high purity point contact germanium detectors. I fo
cus on precision measurements of coherent elastic neutrino nucleus scatter
ing (CEνNS) within the Standard Model\, searches for physics beyond the S
tandard Model including light dark matter interactions\, and investigation
s of neutrinoless double-beta decay (0νββ). By leveraging low threshold
germanium detector technology\, complemented by advanced signal discrimin
ation\, comprehensive background characterization\, and high energy resolu
tion spectral reconstruction\, I aim to achieve unprecedented sensitivity
to sub-keV energy depositions and develop a versatile experimental platfor
m for next-generation rare event searches. This talk will highlight my cur
rent research contributions and conclude with future directions in neutrin
 o and dark matter physics.\n\nhttps://scitalks.tifr.res.in/event/9434/
