DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Abhijit Gadde (TIFR\, Mumbai)\n\nIn this talk\, I'll
describe an intimate connection between multi-partite entanglement and to
pological field theories. The ground state of a gapped Hamiltonian is expe
cted to describe a topological quantum field theory at  long distances. A
natural question is how to describe this TQFT from the properties of the
ground state. I'll describe a class of q-partite entanglement observables\
, called multi-invariants\, that is in one to one correspondence with q-1
manifolds M and its bicolored triangulation. We conjecture that these mult
i-invariants encode the TQFT partition function on M along with non-univer
sal local factors. We identify the non-universal contributions with less-t
han-full-partite entangled states and describe a  way of removing them. A
beautiful connection with null bordisms emerges  in this process.\n\nhtt
