The CORSIKA School is intended to provide PhD students and young researchers, in the field of astroparticle physics, the knowledge needed to simulate and understand the phenomenon of extensive air showers. Emphasis is put on pedagogical introductions to the physics and phenomenology of cosmic ray showers, electromagnetic and hadronic interactions as well as the technical aspects of the program package CORSIKA.
